IFEES GEDC IUCEE Webinar:
Academics Without Borders – Partners in Strengthening Engineering Research and Education

Description
Academics Without Borders Academics Without Borders (AWB) works with post-secondary institutions in low- and middle- income countries to increase and improve their capacity to educate the professionals and leaders they need. Stemming from a proposal that reflects the most pressing needs and priorities of a partner institution, AWB recruits Canadian and international volunteer academics and/or professional staff to collaborate on projects with those partners. AWB volunteers bring with them experience and deep expertise that otherwise would otherwise be unaffordable. As a result, our projects are diverse, ranging from assisting with strategic planning, through helping develop curriculum, to building research capacity – essentially anything universities do. Focused examples and a complete list of projects to date can be found on our website (https://www.awb-usf.org/the-work/).
