Dr. Vedula is co-founder and executive director of IUCEE. He is well recognized globally for his contributions to engineering education, research, administration and outreach. He is internationally recognized for his research in processing and properties of materials for high temperature applications, with particular emphasis on powder processing and intermetallic compounds and environmental effects.

Dr. Raviprakash Salagame brings over 25 years of engineering industry experience. He currently at Autobotik, Singapore. Previously Ravi held leadership and engineering positions at GE Corporate Research Center (at JFWTC) and IBM Almaden Research Center at San Jose, California, USA
He completed his Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University at University Park, PA in 1995, Masters from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1988 and Bachelor’s degree from BMS College of Engineering in 1986.
Ravi brings strong leadership skills in innovation, technology and product development across automotive and industrial domains focusing on mechanical and electro-mechanical products. He is a certified Six Sigma black belt and a technical expert in Design Optimization, CAE, data science and statistical methods. He has published over 15 international journal and conference papers and delivered several industry keynotes in India. Ravi is also a member of academic advisory boards at a few universities in India. He has been an active leader of Multi-disciplinary Optimization consortium in India and successfully organized 2 national conferences in MDO and has been promoting this technology with IISc and IIT Chennai as partners.
As GIAF member of IUCEE, Ravi is passionate about making a difference to higher education transformation in India.

Jayant retired from P&G after 32 years of Project Management, Construction Management and Plant Engineering assignments. In his career at P&G in 32 years, Jayant has managed projects worth over 2 Billion USD.
He was the founding president of the South Georgia Construction and Maintenance Council, a local Construction User group in South Georgia.
In addition to the U.S., Jayant has managed Projects and Construction for P&G in Mexico, Canada and India.
Jayant has delivered training at P&G, social organizations, IIT B, etc. for:
- Leadership Talent Development in the areas of Leadership versus Management, Personal & Organizational Vision Development, Goal Setting, Organization Design, Organizational Culture Development, Personal & Organizational Values and effective writing.
-Technical skills development in the areas of Construction Management and Project Management.
Jayant has a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, MS in Building Design from the University of Connecticut and a MS in Construction Management from the University of Illinois.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Illinois, Ohio and New York in the United States.

She is a Post Graduate in VLSI Design from IIT Delhi (1996 batch). She has worked with STMicroelectronics Noida (India), Catania (Sicily) and Agrate (Italy) offices for several years in Memory Design and Development division as Design Leader growing up to Project Manager position leading multiple design teams working on 65nm High Speed and High Density SRAM library products. She served Micron Technology Inc, Pasadena (USA) for 2 years in their Image Sensor Division for Mobile and PC product development in 2001.
In 2014, she joined Sankalp Semiconductors (now HCL technologies) as a Director for North India Business Development and Sales. It was during these years, she shifted focus towards organic development of Indian college Graduates to improve the quality of workforce entering the Industry. After working on the field for 2 years she joined Electronics Sector Skills council of India as Vice President - Campus Engagement to lead the cause of skill development of engg students. She has travelled extensively all over India and understands the issues deep rooted in the engg education system that inhibit workforce readiness for global needs. She has dedicated the rest of her life towards enabling the changes at the grassroot level on the platform of IUCEE and Sharpness Simplified. Sharpness Simplified is a non-commercial initiative that reaches the masses with simple and obvious solutions towards an effective day-to-day life.
She is also a fitness and sports enthusiast and an amateur long distance endurance cyclist riding across cities and mountains. She lives with a basic principle that all lives are interconnected and one can be happy when all others are happy !!

Dr. Mrs. Sushma S. Kulkarni is a Vice Chancellor at NICMAR University, Pune, Maharashtra, India and is Former Director, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Maharashtra, India. She has her B.E. (Civil) from VNIT, Nagpur, M.E. (Civil) and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India. She has 35 years of teaching experience in Civil Engineering programs, and her areas of interest are Concrete Technology, TQM, Quality Circles, Construction Management, Watershed Management, OBE and Women Empowerment.
She has contributed to more than 85 research papers and has two patents provisionally registered on “Pond Ash” and “Academics with ICT”. She has guided six PhD students and more than 55 UG & PG students for projects.
Dr. Sushma has visited universities around the world to study engineering education systems. She has worked as jury member for the “GEDC-Airbus Global Diversity Award” in Australia (2015), a keynote speaker at the Asian Engineering Education Conference in China (2016), and she has presented as panellist at the GEDC Conference in Canada (2017). Dr. Sushma has contributed to various professional boards, including the IUCEE, ISTE, ISTD.
Dr. Sushma has won the Global Award for excellence in engineering education “2019 IFEES Duncan Fraser Global Award”, and the ISTD’s Emerging HRD Thinker’s gold medal. She is elected as chair-elect of Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) a global network of leaders in STEM innovation. She is also an advisor on the board of IUCEE. She is an Editor for, “Journal of Engineering Education Transformation” (JEET), A Scopus indexed and UGC -CARE recognized journal from January, 2014 in collaboration with IUCEE. She is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers.

Dr. Sohum Sohoni is a Professor of Computer Science at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Prior to his role at MSOE, he served as faculty at Arizona State University and Oklahoma State University. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and his BE in Electrical Engineering from the Govt. College of Engineering Pune (COEP) in 1998. His research is in Computer Engineer and Engineering Education. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers and has received several best paper awards. A computer architecture visualization platform that he and his students designed has been used by over 2000 students at 3 universities in the USA. He has received many teaching awards including the Regents Distinguished Teaching Award in 2010 at Oklahoma State University. He is a member of ACM and ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education), and a Senior Member of IEEE.
He serves as the Associate Director of the Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Engineering Education Transformations. He leads the Engineering Education Research course for IUCEE along with Dr. Prathiba Nagabhushan.

Dilip Chemburkar is a retired business executive. He retired from General Electric Financial Assurance. During his career at GE, Dilip had several assignments in manufacturing and financial service -- Director of Quality, Plant Manager, Vice President of Mexican Operations, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Director of Risk, Director of Operations etc. to name a few. Dilip was granted a United.States Patent (6,301,773) for having invented an improved Method of Manufacturing a Motor Core.
Dilip has a B. Tech (Honours) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay (1970) and a M.S. degree in Materials Engineering from Mississippi State University (1974).
Dilip currently resides in Florida, USA, where he tutors high school and college students in mathematics subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry and statistics.
He serves on the Global Industrial Advisory Forum (GIAF) of Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and coordinates the Outcomes Based Education (OBE) cluster where colleges can learn about elements of implementation of OBE and share best practices.

Sandeep brings over 25 years of experience spanning finance, investment analysis, strategic planning, and technology, including the last decade of leadership experience (as CFO) in fundraising ($250M+ aggregate raised) and strategic and tactical financial management. He has worked with dozens of start ups from pre-revenue to multi-million dollar revenue. Sandeep has a Master’s in Computer Science from Syracuse University and an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
When he is not working, Sandeep enjoys long road trips with family to discover new destinations: relishing the journey along the way. At home, he relaxes by cooking creative (vegetarian) concoctions. Most of which are generally eatable:)

He was the Founding Director of IIT Hyderabad from June 2009 to June 2019. For nearly five years he served as the mentor Director for IIIT Chittoor, Sri City. He was also mentor Director for IIT Bhilai during its initial setting up phase. At present he is Prof. Emeritus at IIT Hyderabad. He is also Honorary Professor Woosong University, South Korea. He also serves as a Strategic Consultant for TSDSI (Telecom Standards Development Society of India). He is an academic advisor to several institution in India.
From 1979 to 1984 he was an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Washington State University, Pullman, WA, U.S.A., and an Associate Professor at the same place from 1984 to 1987. From 1987 to May 2009 he was a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay. He was Dean of Students at IIT-Bombay from Aug 2000 to July 2002. He has held Visiting Associate Professor's position at Arizona State University, Purdue University, and Stanford University. He was a visiting Professor at EPFL, Lausanne during the summer of 2002. From July 2002 to June 2004 he was the Director of HP-IITM R and D Lab. at IIT-Madras.
His research interests are in wireless communication, wireless sensor networks, cyber physical systems, Internet of Things and AI. He is the Editor of the book "Modeling and Applications of Stochastic Processes". He is also a co-author of eight monographs: "A Bayesian Approach to Image Interpretation", "Multifractal based Network Modeling", "Multihop Mobile Wireless Networks", “Video Shot Boundary Detection”, “Capacity Enhancement and Interference Mitigation in Multiuser Ultra Wideband (UWB) Systems”, “Efficient Clustering Algorithms for Cell phone based Sensor Networks”, “tuPOY: Thermally Unstable Partially Oriented Yarns: Silicon of the Future” and “Green Symbiotic Cloud Communication” . Dr. Desai has graduated 25 Ph.D. students, and over 100 Masters students with Thesis option. He is the author/coauthor of nearly 300 peered reviewed papers in international journals and international conferences.
Dr. Desai received the outstanding Alumni Award from University of Buffalo (State University of New York) in 2015. In 2016 he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kanpur. He is a Fellow of INSA (Indian National Science Academy), Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and a Fellow of The Institution of Electronic & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). He is the recipient of J C Bose Fellowship. He is also the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from IIT-Bombay for 2007. He is on the board of Tata Communications Limited. He is on the Hyderabad Eye Research Foundation Board of LV Prasad Eye Institute. He was on the Strategy Advisory Board of Microsoft Research Lab. India. He is a member of many central governmental committees and several governing councils of leading academic institutions. He Chairs several committees under MEITY, DST, DRDO, and private organizations. He is one of the founding members of COMSNETS and also Society for Cancer Research and Communication. He was the Chair for IEEE Bombay Section 2006-2008. He was also on the Visitation Panel for University of Ghana.

Dr. Manu Vora is Chairman and President of Business Excellence, Inc., a global quality management consulting firm. He has over 46 years of leadership experience guiding Fortune 500 companies with the US Baldrige Performance Excellence Award framework. He is a Past Vice President from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Board of Directors. He served as a Chairperson for ASQ Chicago Section. He is an ASQ Fellow. Manu served as a Chief Judge at the Illinois Team Excellence Award Program from 1993-1999. He was a Senior Examiner for the Asia Pacific Global Performance Excellence Award Program from 2004 to 2017.
He holds an MBA with Marketing Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, M.S. & Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, and B. Tech. (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in India. For over 35 years as a Consultant and over 28 years as an Adjunct Professor, he teaches Operations Management courses at business schools globally. He has contributed at over 680 educational institutions around the world. In 2016, he taught "Project Management for Organizational Excellence", a GIAN Course approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India at IIT (BHU). He was appointed as a Fulbright Specialist by the U. S. Department of State in 2016 and completed his first Fulbright Project at IIT (BHU) in March 2018. For over 50 years, he has dedicated his life to community service. In 1989, he established the Blind Foundation for India (BFI) to serve over 15 million visually impaired people in India. The BFI team raised over $5 million to support over two million adults and children in India for their eyesight checkups. Since 1970, Dr. Vora has raised over $12 million for a variety of charitable and professional causes. He has shared his Leadership Excellence Series (LES) focusing on life-long transferable knowledge of soft skills and quality management free-of-cost to over One Million people globally. The LES project won the 2016 D. L. Shah Silver Quality Award from the Quality Council of India (QCI). In 2013, he gave two TEDx Talks (TEDxIITBHU, Varanasi, India and TEDxIIT Chicago). Sheetal Sohoni is a Faculty Associate in the Graphic Information Technology program at Arizona State University. Apart from this, she works as Web and Graphic Design Consultant for University of Delaware, and Health Engineering Application Lab, ASU. Sheetal received her B.Arch degree from Rajeev Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalay, India in 2003. She has an Associates degree in Graphic Design from Northern Oklahoma Community College, BS in Graphic Information Technology (Web design and Imaging) from Arizona State University, Master of Technology from Arizona State University, and a graduate certificate in User Experience Design from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Sheetal has been involved with the creative field of design in the capacity of an academician, as well as a professional web and user experience designer from past 17 years.. Prof (Dr.) Siddharthsinh Jadeja is a Mechanical Engineer, having more than 20 years of experience in industry and academia. As a teacher, he has always adopted the student-centric teaching-learning process. An academician with 43 years of experience, he is greatly respected by the teaching fraternity and student community spread across the globe. A disciplinarian and a thorough professional, he was recently bestowed with the title of Distinguished Researcher of SJEC for his contribution to research and innovation in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He will continue to serve the institution as Chief of Research and Development–SJEC. Dr. Rio D’Souza joined SJEC in 2006 and has served the institution as Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department, Dean of Computer Applications, Dean of Academics and as Vice Principal. He is often credited for the transformation in the academic culture of the institution. Being the head of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, he spearheaded the accreditation programme and oversaw SJEC being accredited by NBA–New Delhi for the period 2013–2019. His leadership has led to SJEC being recognised as a Transformational Leader in Engineering Education by the Indo Universal Collaboration in Engineering Education (IUCEE).

He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineers, India. With considerable experience and understanding of Global Standards and Regulations, especially the practices of IEC as well as UL/NEMA domains, he continues to be an active member with National Laboratories, on BIS Committees and works especially towards Harmonization of Standards.
He teaches at engineering academic institutions, technical seminars and workshops, and delivers credit courses as an Industry Expert. He is a certified ‘Industry Teaching Fellow’ and active with ‘Global Industry Advisory Forum, by IUCEE. Associated with Toastmasters he has mentored JFWTC plus other clubs’ members and is certified Advanced Communicator Gold.

Veena has over 30 years’ experience of teaching, research and faculty development in France, India and USA. Before moving to USA, she was Professor and Head, Education Technology at IIT, Delhi (1988- 2003), where she was actively involved in the design and development of video courses (now made available as NPTL courses), and faculty training programs. Veena has extensive experience in the e-learning space, and worked as Chief Learning Officer with Microland Limited, Bangalore, India/USA (sabbatical assignment – 2000-2001). She has been the Principal Investigator for several prestigious academic & training projects sponsored by the World Bank; the European Commission, the Commonwealth of Learning, Canada MHRD, India & the British Council. She has trained faculty from China, Japan, Africa, Turkey, Brazil and India.
Veena has been associated with IUCEE since 2008, and has designed the IUCEE International Engineering Educator Certification Program(IIEECP). To date, 700 engineering faculty from over fifty engineering colleges in India have been certified. The program is recognized by IGIP (Society for Engineering Education), Austria for joint certification for their ‘Diploma in Engineering Pedagogy”..

This past school year she spent 9 months in India where she gave over 45 workshops at 19 different Indian engineering education institutions on Effective Teaching, Writing an Effective Technical Research Proposal, Writing an Engineering Education Research Paper in your Course, Engineering Ethics, Project-Based Learning, Teaching Students to Design Experiments, Incorporating Professional Skills in your Curriculum, and Outcomes-Based Education.
She has been working with IUCEE since 2015, serving in a variety of roles.

Dr. Anil Kulkarni is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University for over 40 years. Prior to that, he completed B. Tech. from IIT Bombay, India, and Sc. M. and Ph. D. from Brown University, USA. His academic and research areas of interest are- online engineering education, energy, materials processing, heat transfer, computational fluid mechanics, combustion, and professional ethics. At Penn State, Dr. Kulkarni has taught courses in Thermal Sciences, Indoor Air Quality Engineering, and Measurements and Instrumentation. He served as the Professor-in-charge of Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program for eight years, project director for an NSF-funded Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing Graduate Research Traineeship program at Penn State, and as an elected Faculty Senator, among other positions. In 2013, Dr. Kulkarni was awarded US – Norway Fulbright Scholarship by the U. S. government for working on Emissions in the Materials Processing Industry in Trondheim, Norway. He also spent a semester at the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA) at IIT Bombay in 2013. He has had international collaborative activities with Australia, China, Germany, India, Japan, Norway, and (former) USSR.

Prathiba Nagabhushan is an educational psychologist who has a PhD from the Australian National University, Canberra, Master of English from Madras University and Master of Education from Bangalore University. She is currently teaching Psychology to senior secondary students and Methods of Teaching English and Humanities to Master of Teaching students at the Australian Catholic University, Canberra. With over 25 years of teaching experience at different levels of educational system in India, Mexico and Australia, she has also taught in a variety of educational settings, with diverse students and across a wide range of cultural contexts.
A Gold-Medallist from Madras and Bangalore Universities, Prathiba has won the National Award for ‘Innovations in Teaching’ from the NCERT, New Delhi and recently received an International Award for the Best Research Paper at the International Conference on Cognitive & Behavioural Psychology, Singapore. She is a member of Global Science & Technology Forum, Singapore. Prathiba was the Cultural Ambassador of India to Mexico, sponsored by the Rotary International, Evanston, Illinois, USA. She is the recipient of the prestigious “Achievement Award - 2019 for the Outstanding Services to the ACT Community” by Mr Andrew Barr, the Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory.
Prathiba’s publications include research articles on student motivation and engagement in learning, global trends in education and pre-service teachers’ emotional well-being. Her current research interests include self-efficacy in students, ICT in education and educational practices and research in engineering education. Her book “Engaging Adolescent Students in Contemporary Classrooms: Emerging Research and Opportunities“ is a compendium of her valuable research on adolescents’ motivation towards and engagement in their learning.
Prathiba lives with her husband Nagabhushan, a mechanical engineer, working for the Federal Government of Australia, in Canberra. They have a daughter, Samyuktha, who also lives in Canberra with her husband and children.


He had held several administrative positions including Graduate Program Chair and Director of the Computational and Experimental Laboratory in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. He has over thirty years of experience in fundamental research in computational and experimental mechanics involving basic tools such as finite element analysis, advanced experimental techniques, high-performance software development, materials development and processing, and design optimization. He has worked as a PI and co-PI in sponsored research from government agencies such as the National Science Foundation, NASA, Federal Aviation Administration and the US Army. Over the last two decades he has been working to find effective solutions to ballistic and blast problems working with FAA/NASA (fabric-based engine containment system, testing and modeling of composites) and DoD (ARO – blast mitigation, TSWG – ultra-concealable armor, SOCOM – low areal density body armor) both as a faculty member at ASU and as a R&D consultant with management responsibilities. He has mentored over 50 doctoral dissertation and master’s thesis students, and published over 200 journal and conference papers.
On the engineering education arena, Dr. Rajan has served as the chair of the curriculum committee of the Schools of Engineering, chair of the civil engineering curriculum committee, and led the efforts at the Schools of Engineering at ASU to successfully transition and maintain ABET accreditation. He has participated as the lead person from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in several research projects dealing with teaching innovations. The most significant one was “The Foundation Coalition” that was funded in 1993 as the fifth coalition in the National Science Foundation's Engineering Education Coalitions Program. The member institutions - Arizona State University, Maricopa Community College District, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University - Kingsville, Texas Woman's University, and the University of Alabama - developed improved curricula and learning environment models that are based on four primary thrusts: integration of subject matter within the curriculum, cooperative and active learning, technology - enabled learning, and continuous improvement through assessment and evaluation. In addition to this large effort, has worked on several smaller projects sponsored by Center for Research on Education in Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology (CRESMET) at ASU. More recently he has mentored high school students participating in local science fairs and coordinated with CUSD hosting a 3-day workshop for Jr. High students at ASU.


Currently, he works with a team at Bulk Solids Innovation Center (BSIC) that provides a wide range of value-added solutions and services to enhance efficiency and productivity to variety of industries - food, chemicals, minerals, pharmaceuticals, and plastics. From research, education, training, access to technology, and bench to full-scale testing of dry bulk solids, this unique Center identifies and solves real-world industrial problems.
Dr. Dandu is fluent in spoken and written English, Slovak, Czech, and Telugu, communicates in Russian, Spanish, Arabic, and Hindi. Familiar with German and Italian.

He is currently the editor-in-chief of the Journal of American Water Resources Association (JAWRA) – a pre-eminent journal on multidisciplinary water resources research published by Wiley Interscience
Prior to Joining Texas Tech in 2012, Dr. Uddameri was a professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, for 11 years where he also headed the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Center for Excellence in Science and Technology - Research on Environmental Sustainability in Semi-Arid Coastal Areas (CREST-RESSACA).
His primary research interests are in the broad area of water resources with an emphasis on developing and applying mathematical modeling techniques to pressing water resources problems. His current focus is on the use of stochastic risk assessment methods to assess risks to water systems under climate change and the use of Big Data and Physics-Inspired Machine Learning Methods for sustainable water resources engineering. He has authored over 85 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He also has authored two textbooks and is in the process of writing another on water resources planning and management.
Dr. Uddameri’s research has conducted research in excess of $18.0 Million and has received funding from a wide range of federal, state, local and international agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Department of Defense (DoD), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NASA). In the year 2016 He was an invited panelist to discuss National Water Policy Organized by Office of Science, Technology and Policy (OSTP) of the President Obama’s white house. He has made several invited presentations worldwide and recent organized a specialty conference on improving water infrastructure through adaptive resilience.
Dr. Uddameri’s has taught a broad range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of fluid mechanics, engineering hydrology, surface water and groundwater hydrology, groundwater contaminant transport. He leads the systems thinking initiative within the civil engineering department and has developed new graduate certification curriculum titled – Data and Informatics for Civil Engineers (DICE).
Dr. Uddameri has active collaborations in many parts of the world including – Brazil, China, India, Oman and Ethiopia. In 2018 he was selected by the Government of India - Ministry of Human Resources to present two short-courses on groundwater modeling and water resources informatics as part of their Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) program in the year 2018.


Dr. Vijay Kanabar is Director and founding professor of Project Management programs of Project Management (PM) programs at Boston University [MET]. Over the past 25 years as a full-time faculty member Dr. Kanabar been very active teaching in the computer science and business departments. He has successfully introduced at least fifteen new courses for both online and on-campus, and ten graduate new degrees and certificates. Dr. Kanabar has participated in several dozen committees within the college and chaired in several of them ranging from hiring new full-time faculty to curriculum assessment. He has served on the President’s Technology & Learning Innovation (CETLI) committee which architected a new digital learning strategy and remote teaching strategy for the university.
Dr. Kanabar has thirty-five plus years of teaching and research experience both in the USA and Canada. He has received the college wide Merit Award for excellence in teaching and research and was successfully tenured at U of Winnipeg. He has five books and more than seventy-five papers and has received several research grants. Active in curriculum research, in 2015 Dr. Kanabar was awarded the distinguished Linn Stuckenbruck Teaching Excellence Award from Project Management Institute (PMI) for his contributions to PM curriculum & teaching. Dr. Shalini S Gopalkrishnan is a Visiting Professor for the Graduate School of International Policy and Management (GSIPM) . Her research interests include Technology and analytics to build and accelerate social enterprises, public policy in entrepreneurship, women leadership and impact investing.
Dr. Gopalkrishnan has presented at conferences across the globe and has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. She has taught MBA, undergraduate and doctoral programs at universities across the world. In 2016, she won the best prize for teaching at the Experiential classroom XVII in entrepreneurship. In addition, Dr. Gopalkrishnan was the winner of the Global Brainstorm Challenge “Global Women’s Leadership Alliance: 5 million women change agents improving our world in 5 years.
Dr. Gopalkrishnan is a judge at UC Berkley LAUNCH and BIG IDEAS competition. She is a member of Data Kind and, Youth Business USA. She has founded startups such as freelancemoms.com, Introspect and Lexion Global and worked as a consultant with A F Ferguson (then part of KPMG) and worked on projects with USAID, Fortune 500 firms and the Government. She has volunteered with Junior achievement, Big Brother Big Sister, Page 15, World Affairs Council, Girl Scouts, Hands on Atlanta and Orlando.
Dr. Gopalkrishnan earned her Bachelor of Mathematics/statistics degree from Bombay University, Masters in Business(PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India and her Doctoral credentials from University of Florida. She has been teaching at MIIS since 2018.

Sujata Wadhwa strives to eliminate educational inequality by leveraging the power of technology and self-confidence to respond to the urgent need to inculcate and hone 21st century employability skills, professional or people skills and activity based learning. She contributes to inculcate soft skills, behavioural skills, 21st century skills through ABL i.e. activity based learning, the hallmark of 21st century education.With M.A, B.Ed, Ph.D. in ELT, CELTA Cambridge University, CUP examiner (speaking) with 18 Research Papers with 10+ years of teaching and training experience in various schools and universities, engineering institutes and industries all over the country. She is currently an empanelled author & trainer with LHH, UK; KCG-Gujarat and a career consultant. She has been conducting workshops for Faculty development w.r.t research paper writing, effective domain, digital teaching, peer assessments, teaching Business English, communication skills, spoken English, soft skills, critical thinking and 21st century skills in various academic and non-academic organizations. Sujata Wadhwa achieved a status of being the youngest intellectual in the region, to implement Activity Based Learning (ABL) to train the people and the Best Teacher Award from KUK, Haryana. Her genuine contribution to education and training credits her with the opportunity to present and publish eight research papers in national and international journals. She also was one of the Main Coordinators of Bridge Course, Planning and execution with GTU to create frame-work of more than 500 colleges across the state. Her new pedagogical framework of inculcating 21st Century skills has been acknowledged highly. She is also a Director, Grand Academic Portal and contributes to make higher education better in India.

Dr. Ranji Vaidyanathan is Varnadow chaired professor of materials science and engineering in the school of materials science and engineering at Oklahoma State University, with several years of entrepreneurial and product development in the composites and additive manufacturing areas. He is focused on assisting student entrepreneurship and venture creation. Previously, he was at Advanced Ceramics Research (ACR) in Tucson, AZ, where he managed over 50 small business innovative research (SBIR/STTR) projects. At ACR, he won an R&D 100 Award for the development of a water-soluble tooling material for fabricating polymer composite materials marketed as Aquacore™ and Aquapour™ that has sold for more than $17 million dollars in the last 7 years. While working at ACR, he developed 4 different products from the concept stage to the commercial stage, including water-soluble tooling materials that are commercially sold to Airbus, Eurocopter, Boeing and Lockheed. At Oklahoma State University, he works with several Oklahoma small businesses and student start-ups. Currently, he is working with his 8th student start-up company, assisting them with technical as well as strategic issues in taking their products to the market. A previous student start-up MITO Material Solutions won 2nd place at the prestigious Rice Business Plan competition and has successfully scaled up their product to take it to the market, winning more than $1.1 million from a National Science Foundation commercialization grant and additional investment worth $0.5 million.
Ranji has a B. Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, MS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a Ph. D in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Dr. Sabnis built and lived in an energy-efficient award-winning home he built in concrete with several recycled construction materials. The house received national recognition.
He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the James Berkeley Gold Medal from University of Bombay. He is the Distinguished Member of ASCE and Fellow of ACI, IEI, ICI, ACCE and the registered Professional Engineer in the US. He has been a nominated GC member of ICI since 2009. He was International Director for ASCE responsible for over 25 countries and was responsible for membership growth and active participant in the ASCE Board activities initiating new programs in that area. In ACI, he was actively involved in the International Activities and Chapter Activities Committee establishing many Institute Chapters in the US and abroad and was awarded the first Chapter Activities Award.
