Sampada Pachaury is currently serving as a Global Industry Advisory Member with IUCEE. She plays an active role in the Organizational affairs of IUCEE with a focus on linkages to existing programs of MHRD, AICTE, UGC and various bodies where IUCEE has a potential to fill the gaps for Engg Colleges in India. She works closely with the student community to empower them with the tools to grow and make a mark in Engineering and beyond.
She is a Post Graduate in VLSI Design from IIT Delhi (1996 batch). She has worked with STMicroelectronics Noida (India), Catania (Sicily) and Agrate (Italy) offices for several years in Memory Design and Development division as Design Leader growing up to Project Manager position leading multiple design teams working on 65nm High Speed and High Density SRAM library products. She served Micron Technology Inc, Pasadena (USA) for 2 years in their Image Sensor Division for Mobile and PC product development in 2001.
In 2014, she joined Sankalp Semiconductors (now HCL technologies) as a Director for North India Business Development and Sales. It was during these years, she shifted focus towards organic development of Indian college Graduates to improve the quality of workforce entering the Industry. After working on the field for 2 years she joined Electronics Sector Skills council of India as Vice President - Campus Engagement to lead the cause of skill development of engg students. She has travelled extensively all over India and understands the issues deep rooted in the engg education system that inhibit workforce readiness for global needs. She has dedicated the rest of her life towards enabling the changes at the grassroot level on the platform of IUCEE and Sharpness Simplified. Sharpness Simplified is a non-commercial initiative that reaches the masses with simple and obvious solutions towards an effective day-to-day life.
She is also a fitness and sports enthusiast and an amateur long distance endurance cyclist riding across cities and mountains. She lives with a basic principle that all lives are interconnected and one can be happy when all others are happy !!

Uday B. Desai received the B. Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in 1974, the M.S. degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo, in 1976, and the Ph.D. degree from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, U.S.A., in 1979, all in Electrical Engineering.
He was the Founding Director of IIT Hyderabad from June 2009 to June 2019. For nearly five years he served as the mentor Director for IIIT Chittoor, Sri City. He was also mentor Director for IIT Bhilai during its initial setting up phase. At present he is Prof. Emeritus at IIT Hyderabad. He is also Honorary Professor Woosong University, South Korea. He also serves as a Strategic Consultant for TSDSI (Telecom Standards Development Society of India). He is an academic advisor to several institution in India.
From 1979 to 1984 he was an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Washington State University, Pullman, WA, U.S.A., and an Associate Professor at the same place from 1984 to 1987. From 1987 to May 2009 he was a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay. He was Dean of Students at IIT-Bombay from Aug 2000 to July 2002. He has held Visiting Associate Professor's position at Arizona State University, Purdue University, and Stanford University. He was a visiting Professor at EPFL, Lausanne during the summer of 2002. From July 2002 to June 2004 he was the Director of HP-IITM R and D Lab. at IIT-Madras.
His research interests are in wireless communication, wireless sensor networks, cyber physical systems, Internet of Things and AI. He is the Editor of the book "Modeling and Applications of Stochastic Processes". He is also a co-author of eight monographs: "A Bayesian Approach to Image Interpretation", "Multifractal based Network Modeling", "Multihop Mobile Wireless Networks", “Video Shot Boundary Detection”, “Capacity Enhancement and Interference Mitigation in Multiuser Ultra Wideband (UWB) Systems”, “Efficient Clustering Algorithms for Cell phone based Sensor Networks”, “tuPOY: Thermally Unstable Partially Oriented Yarns: Silicon of the Future” and “Green Symbiotic Cloud Communication” . Dr. Desai has graduated 25 Ph.D. students, and over 100 Masters students with Thesis option. He is the author/coauthor of nearly 300 peered reviewed papers in international journals and international conferences.
Dr. Desai received the outstanding Alumni Award from University of Buffalo (State University of New York) in 2015. In 2016 he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kanpur. He is a Fellow of INSA (Indian National Science Academy), Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and a Fellow of The Institution of Electronic & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). He is the recipient of J C Bose Fellowship. He is also the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from IIT-Bombay for 2007. He is on the board of Tata Communications Limited. He is on the Hyderabad Eye Research Foundation Board of LV Prasad Eye Institute. He was on the Strategy Advisory Board of Microsoft Research Lab. India. He is a member of many central governmental committees and several governing councils of leading academic institutions. He Chairs several committees under MEITY, DST, DRDO, and private organizations. He is one of the founding members of COMSNETS and also Society for Cancer Research and Communication. He was the Chair for IEEE Bombay Section 2006-2008. He was also on the Visitation Panel for University of Ghana.

Dr. Manu Vora is Chairman and President of Business Excellence, Inc., a global quality management consulting firm. He has over 46 years of leadership experience guiding Fortune 500 companies with the US Baldrige Performance Excellence Award framework. He is a Past Vice President from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Board of Directors. He served as a Chairperson for ASQ Chicago Section. He is an ASQ Fellow. Manu served as a Chief Judge at the Illinois Team Excellence Award Program from 1993-1999. He was a Senior Examiner for the Asia Pacific Global Performance Excellence Award Program from 2004 to 2017.
He holds an MBA with Marketing Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, M.S. & Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, and B. Tech. (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in India. For over 35 years as a Consultant and over 28 years as an Adjunct Professor, he teaches Operations Management courses at business schools globally. He has contributed at over 680 educational institutions around the world. In 2016, he taught "Project Management for Organizational Excellence", a GIAN Course approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India at IIT (BHU). He was appointed as a Fulbright Specialist by the U. S. Department of State in 2016 and completed his first Fulbright Project at IIT (BHU) in March 2018. He is listed in “Who’sWho in the World”, “Who’sWho in America”, “Who’sWho in the Midwest”, “Who’sWho in Science and Engineering”, and “Who’sWho in Finance and Business”. He has taught 10,000 faculties in India including 2 dozen AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).
Manu received "2017 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award", "2017 Community Leadership Award" from Indian American Business Council, "2016 Simon Collier Quality Award" from ASQ Los Angeles Section. He delivered "2016 Prof. N. N. Godbole Institute Memorial Lecture" on September 3, 2016 at IIT (BHU). He received "2015 Distinguished Alumnus Award" from BHU (his alma mater). He gave "2nd IIT (BHU) Institute Lecture" on January 15, 2014. He received "2014 Harrington/Ishikawa Medal" from Asia Pacific Quality Organization, He has been honored by ASQ with 5 Medals. He received “1994 Joe Lisy Award” and “1993 Founder’s Award” from ASQ Chicago Section. He gave the 2003 Commencement Address at his alma mater at the Keller Graduate School of Management’s Milwaukee Center. He has delivered over 1,150 presentations in 36 Countries across Five Continents. He has over 70 scholarly publications. He has published 50 blog posts on quality management. In 2005, he authored the “Managing Human Capital” chapter in Six Sigma for Transactions and Service book published by McGraw-Hill. He has received 56 awards/honors for his outstanding professional service.

Contributor to Social Responsibility and Community Service
For over 50 years, he has dedicated his life to community service. In 1989, he established the Blind Foundation for India (BFI) to serve over 15 million visually impaired people in India. The BFI team raised over $5 million to support over two million adults and children in India for their eyesight checkups. Since 1970, Dr. Vora has raised over $12 million for a variety of charitable and professional causes. He has shared his Leadership Excellence Series (LES) focusing on life-long transferable knowledge of soft skills and quality management free-of-cost to over One Million people globally. The LES project won the 2016 D. L. Shah Silver Quality Award from the Quality Council of India (QCI). In 2013, he gave two TEDx Talks (TEDxIITBHU, Varanasi, India and TEDxIIT Chicago). He has delivered Career Development talks to Students and Professionals benefiting over 15,000 people.
He received "2018 Times Now NRI of The Year Award for Philanthropy", "2017 Life-Time Achievement Award" from Association of IIT BHU Alumni, Delhi, "2016 Community Service Award“ from Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago, "2015 and 2000 Paul Harris Fellow Medal” from the Rotary International, “2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award” from IIT BHU Global Alumni Association, “2013 Top 40 Alumni for the 40th Anniversary of Keller Graduate School of Management", “2012 IIT Alumni Medal” from Illinois Institute of Technology, “2011 Ellis Island Medal of Honor” from Ellis Island Honors Society in New York, and “2010 U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award” from the White House. Mr Keith R Fernandes is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, India. Mr Keith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visveswaraya Technological University, Bealagavi, Karnataka and a Master’s Degree in Microelectronics from the University of Western Australia, Australia. He has completed the IIEECP Certification program and is involved in Engineering Education Research. He has undergone Facilitator Certification in Human Resource Development. He has 3 Journal publications, 5 International Conference Publications, and 4 National Conference Publications He has been reviewer for several national and international conferences. He has delivered over 20 sessions and Webinars on topics such as Online Teaching, Canvas and Google Classroom LMS, Assessment using Bloom’s Taxonomy, VLSI Design, MOOC’s and Google Apps for Education. He has participated in over 25 conferences and workshops. He has guided 11 UG Projects and 2 PG Projects. He has designed and delivered along with a team of faculty a six-week immersive course on “Online Teaching” under the banner of IUCEE for over 350 faculty participants across India. He has designed and delivered 6-day student workshop on ‘Digital System Design and Verification using Verilog’. He has completed several online courses offered by edX, Coursera, Udemy, NPTEL and Future Learn. He is an active member of Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) and is presently serves as the Chair of Student Activities, IEEE Mangalore Subsection. He is member of IEEE Young Professionals, Circuits and System Society, Consumer Electronics Technology Society, Solid State Circuit Society, Education Society, Robotics and Automation Society, Vehicular Technology Society and Technology and Engineering Management Society. At present he heads the Grievance Redressal committee at SJEC and is the NBA and Autonomy Coordinator for Dept. of ECE at SJEC. During the time of COVID – 19 crises, he has conducted 10 hands on training workshops for primary, secondary and pre university teachers to guide them towards online teaching environment. His research area’s include Analog IC Design, Digital IC Design & Verification.

Prathiba Nagabhushan is an educational psychologist who has a PhD from the Australian National University, Canberra, Master of English from Madras University and Master of Education from Bangalore University. She is currently teaching Psychology to senior secondary students and Methods of Teaching English and Humanities to Master of Teaching students at the Australian Catholic University, Canberra. With over 25 years of teaching experience at different levels of educational system in India, Mexico and Australia, she has also taught in a variety of educational settings, with diverse students and across a wide range of cultural contexts.
A Gold-Medallist from Madras and Bangalore Universities, Prathiba has won the National Award for ‘Innovations in Teaching’ from the NCERT, New Delhi and recently received an International Award for the Best Research Paper at the International Conference on Cognitive & Behavioural Psychology, Singapore. She is a member of Global Science & Technology Forum, Singapore. Prathiba was the Cultural Ambassador of India to Mexico, sponsored by the Rotary International, Evanston, Illinois, USA. She is the recipient of the prestigious “Achievement Award - 2019 for the Outstanding Services to the ACT Community” by Mr Andrew Barr, the Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory.
Prathiba’s publications include research articles on student motivation and engagement in learning, global trends in education and pre-service teachers’ emotional well-being. Her current research interests include self-efficacy in students, ICT in education and educational practices and research in engineering education. Her book “Engaging Adolescent Students in Contemporary Classrooms: Emerging Research and Opportunities“ is a compendium of her valuable research on adolescents’ motivation towards and engagement in their learning.
Prathiba lives with her husband Nagabhushan, a mechanical engineer, working for the Federal Government of Australia, in Canberra. They have a daughter, Samyuktha, who also lives in Canberra with her husband and children.

Dr. Mohan Rao (Ph.D. Auburn, 1988) is currently a professor and department chair of Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Tech, Cookeville, TN. Previously, he was a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Tech. He is a Fellow of two major professional societies in the field—ASME and SAE. He has conducted both basic and applied research in different areas of acoustics and vibration ranging from analytical modeling of damping of materials, joints, and composite structures to experimental work involving small power tools to large scale machines (e.g. excavators, diesel engines). His research has been sponsored by government agencies and industries that include NASA, NSF, ARL, State of Florida, Ford, GM, Daimler-Chrysler, Caterpillar, TRW, Johnson Controls, John Deere, NIOSH, Arctic Cat, Polaris, Xerox, and Volvo-Korea. He has over 100 publications in technical journals and conference proceedings. Also, he has advised over 50 graduate students. Dr. Rao has received the US Fulbright award, National Science Foundation Research Initiation Award and was honored by the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center for his work on the damping of the Hubble Space Telescope truss system. In addition, he was recognized as a United Nations Development Program expert in Noise & Vibration Control. He serves as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Vehicle Noise and Vibration. He was awarded the 2011 INCE Outstanding Educator Award from the Institute of Noise Control Engineering, USA for his decades of outstanding contribution to noise control education. He is very passionate about Engineering Education. He has conducted several workshops and writing sessions to promote teaching, learning, and course and curriculum improvement. These workshops include topics on outcome- based engineering education, creativity, Bloom’s taxonomy and incorporation and assessment of lifelong learning and other professional skills in engineering courses. He was the lead ABET coordinator for the assessment and initial accreditation of all of the five engineering programs in the college of engineering at the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi in 2011.

Dr. Subramaniam D. Rajan is a Professor of civil, aerospace and mechanical engineering at Arizona State University having joined the university as an Assistant Professor in 1983. Having grown up in Jamshedpur, he went to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and graduated with a B.Tech (Hons) in civil engineering. He then moved to the US and obtained both an MS degree and a PhD degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
He had held several administrative positions including Graduate Program Chair and Director of the Computational and Experimental Laboratory in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. He has over thirty years of experience in fundamental research in computational and experimental mechanics involving basic tools such as finite element analysis, advanced experimental techniques, high-performance software development, materials development and processing, and design optimization. He has worked as a PI and co-PI in sponsored research from government agencies such as the National Science Foundation, NASA, Federal Aviation Administration and the US Army. Over the last two decades he has been working to find effective solutions to ballistic and blast problems working with FAA/NASA (fabric-based engine containment system, testing and modeling of composites) and DoD (ARO – blast mitigation, TSWG – ultra-concealable armor, SOCOM – low areal density body armor) both as a faculty member at ASU and as a R&D consultant with management responsibilities. He has mentored over 50 doctoral dissertation and master’s thesis students, and published over 200 journal and conference papers.
On the engineering education arena, Dr. Rajan has served as the chair of the curriculum committee of the Schools of Engineering, chair of the civil engineering curriculum committee, and led the efforts at the Schools of Engineering at ASU to successfully transition and maintain ABET accreditation. He has participated as the lead person from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in several research projects dealing with teaching innovations. The most significant one was “The Foundation Coalition” that was funded in 1993 as the fifth coalition in the National Science Foundation's Engineering Education Coalitions Program. The member institutions - Arizona State University, Maricopa Community College District, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University - Kingsville, Texas Woman's University, and the University of Alabama - developed improved curricula and learning environment models that are based on four primary thrusts: integration of subject matter within the curriculum, cooperative and active learning, technology - enabled learning, and continuous improvement through assessment and evaluation. In addition to this large effort, has worked on several smaller projects sponsored by Center for Research on Education in Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology (CRESMET) at ASU. More recently he has mentored high school students participating in local science fairs and coordinated with CUSD hosting a 3-day workshop for Jr. High students at ASU.

Dr. John Tharakan is a Professor at Howard University in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences, where he also directs the Graduate Studies program in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Before joining the faculty at Howard, he worked as a research scientist at the American Red Cross. His research interests and experience are in environmental engineering and biotechnology, appropriate technology development and education, and sustainable development. His bioenvironmental engineering research has focused on the use of biological technologies for the remediation of contaminated environmental media. As a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar to India in 2006-07, he organized and conducted a Symposium on Biological Methods of Waste Treatment in South India, the proceedings of which were published as an edited book. His appropriate technology research has had specific focus on technologies for water treatment and conservation, renewable energy production using solar and biomass resources, and waste management and resource recovery. Professor Tharakan’s scholarly work has also focused on the ethics and philosophy of technology, with particular emphasis on the role of the research university in sustainable development. As Faculty Adviser to Howard University’s Engineers Without Borders student chapter, he has worked on appropriate water, sanitation and energy technology implementation in developing communities in Senegal and Kenya (http://www.howard.edu/Kenya). He has also served as Chair or Co-Chair of an on-going series of biennial International Conferences on Appropriate Technology (2004 – 2018) that have been held across Africa bringing together academics, researchers, practitioners and community groups to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer for social justice (http://www.appropriatetech.net), and he has served as the editor for the published proceedings of these conferences. From 2015 – 2016, he served as Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research Scholar, resident at the Cochin University of Science and Technology, where his research focused on the social impact assessment of innovative and appropriate technologies in the areas of water, energy and the environment. Prof. Tharakan has been an activist engineering educator, incorporating project based learning, open-ended design, service learning and ethics in engineering into his core pedagogical approach to educating the engineers of tomorrow. Dr. Tharakan received his undergraduate education from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, graduating with a BTech in Chemical Engineering in 1982. He continued his graduate education at the University of California, San Diego, where he completed his MS in Fluid Mechanics in 1983, and defended his doctoral dissertation in July 1986 to receive his PhD (1986, Engineering Science, Biochemical Engineering) degree. His research has been published in the Journal of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, the Journal of the Life Sciences, the Journal of Chromatography, the Journal of Immunological Methods, the Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering, the Journal of Engineering Education, the International Journal of Service Learning in Engineering, Journal of Science and Engineering Ethics, the African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development, and the Journal of Engineering Education Transformation, in addition to his numerous peer reviewed conference proceedings, review articles and research letters and notes.

Dr. Venki Uddameri is a professor in the department of civil, environmental and construction engineering at Texas Tech University where he also serves as the Director of the Texas Tech University Water Resources Center a university-wide center focused on sustainable water resources problems. He is also an Honorary Professor of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Jimma Institute of Technology, Ethiopia.
He is currently the editor-in-chief of the Journal of American Water Resources Association (JAWRA) – a pre-eminent journal on multidisciplinary water resources research published by Wiley Interscience
Prior to Joining Texas Tech in 2012, Dr. Uddameri was a professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, for 11 years where he also headed the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Center for Excellence in Science and Technology - Research on Environmental Sustainability in Semi-Arid Coastal Areas (CREST-RESSACA).
His primary research interests are in the broad area of water resources with an emphasis on developing and applying mathematical modeling techniques to pressing water resources problems. His current focus is on the use of stochastic risk assessment methods to assess risks to water systems under climate change and the use of Big Data and Physics-Inspired Machine Learning Methods for sustainable water resources engineering. He has authored over 85 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He also has authored two textbooks and is in the process of writing another on water resources planning and management.
Dr. Uddameri’s research has conducted research in excess of $18.0 Million and has received funding from a wide range of federal, state, local and international agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Department of Defense (DoD), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NASA). In the year 2016 He was an invited panelist to discuss National Water Policy Organized by Office of Science, Technology and Policy (OSTP) of the President Obama’s white house. He has made several invited presentations worldwide and recent organized a specialty conference on improving water infrastructure through adaptive resilience.
Dr. Uddameri’s has taught a broad range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of fluid mechanics, engineering hydrology, surface water and groundwater hydrology, groundwater contaminant transport. He leads the systems thinking initiative within the civil engineering department and has developed new graduate certification curriculum titled – Data and Informatics for Civil Engineers (DICE).
Dr. Uddameri has active collaborations in many parts of the world including – Brazil, China, India, Oman and Ethiopia. In 2018 he was selected by the Government of India - Ministry of Human Resources to present two short-courses on groundwater modeling and water resources informatics as part of their Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) program in the year 2018.

Associate Professor, Computer Science and Administrative Sciences; Director, Project Management
Dr. Vijay Kanabar is Director and founding professor of Project Management programs of Project Management (PM) programs at Boston University [MET]. Over the past 25 years as a full-time faculty member Dr. Kanabar been very active teaching in the computer science and business departments. He has successfully introduced at least fifteen new courses for both online and on-campus, and ten graduate new degrees and certificates. Dr. Kanabar has participated in several dozen committees within the college and chaired in several of them ranging from hiring new full-time faculty to curriculum assessment. He has served on the President’s Technology & Learning Innovation (CETLI) committee which architected a new digital learning strategy and remote teaching strategy for the university.
Dr. Kanabar has thirty-five plus years of teaching and research experience both in the USA and Canada. He has received the college wide Merit Award for excellence in teaching and research and was successfully tenured at U of Winnipeg. He has five books and more than seventy-five papers and has received several research grants. Active in curriculum research, in 2015 Dr. Kanabar was awarded the distinguished Linn Stuckenbruck Teaching Excellence Award from Project Management Institute (PMI) for his contributions to PM curriculum & teaching. Dr. Kanabar has unique expertise spanning both business practices and computer science. A Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), he has advised numerous organizations on training and technology needs, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Staples, United Way, and Fidelity Investments. Kanabar is an internationally published scholar and is recognized by local and national media as an authority on IT project management, electronic commerce, and information security. In 2017, Kanabar received the Project Management Institute’s Teaching Excellence Award.

Sujata Wadhwa strives to eliminate educational inequality by leveraging the power of technology and self-confidence to respond to the urgent need to inculcate and hone 21st century employability skills, professional or people skills and activity based learning. She contributes to inculcate soft skills, behavioural skills, 21st century skills through ABL i.e. activity based learning, the hallmark of 21st century education.With M.A, B.Ed, Ph.D. in ELT, CELTA Cambridge University, CUP examiner (speaking) with 18 Research Papers with 10+ years of teaching and training experience in various schools and universities, engineering institutes and industries all over the country. She is currently an empanelled author & trainer with LHH, UK; KCG-Gujarat and a career consultant. She has been conducting workshops for Faculty development w.r.t research paper writing, effective domain, digital teaching, peer assessments, teaching Business English, communication skills, spoken English, soft skills, critical thinking and 21st century skills in various academic and non-academic organizations. She pioneer in implementing OBE (Outcome Based Education) and ABL (Activity Based Teaching).In the CICE,2020 , Canada International Conference on Education, to be held in University of Toronto in June 2020 ( now postponed) , her two research papers and a WORKSHOP session of 90 minutes titled Rethinking Affective Domain: Facilitating Comprehensive Learning have been selected. She is a highly interactive and a versatile persona with a gift of gab and an inquisitive mind. She has been recipient of several awards and grants for betterment of the higher education. Sujata Wadhwa achieved a status of being the youngest intellectual in the region, to implement Activity Based Learning (ABL) to train the people and the Best Teacher Award from KUK, Haryana. Her genuine contribution to education and training credits her with the opportunity to present and publish eight research papers in national and international journals. She also was one of the Main Coordinators of Bridge Course, Planning and execution with GTU to create frame-work of more than 500 colleges across the state. Her new pedagogical framework of inculcating 21st Century skills has been acknowledged highly. She is also a Director, Grand Academic Portal and contributes to make higher education better in India.
She serves on the Global Industrial Advisory Forum (GIAF) of Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and coordinates the Teaching Learning Cluster (TLC) & First Year Engineering cluster (FYE) where colleges can learn about excellent and teaching-learning practices, motivating students to learn, bridging the gap between industry-academia, ABL and share best practices.

Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa, OK
Dr. Ranji Vaidyanathan is Varnadow chaired professor of materials science and engineering in the school of materials science and engineering at Oklahoma State University, with several years of entrepreneurial and product development in the composites and additive manufacturing areas. He is focused on assisting student entrepreneurship and venture creation. Previously, he was at Advanced Ceramics Research (ACR) in Tucson, AZ, where he managed over 50 small business innovative research (SBIR/STTR) projects. At ACR, he won an R&D 100 Award for the development of a water-soluble tooling material for fabricating polymer composite materials marketed as Aquacore™ and Aquapour™ that has sold for more than $17 million dollars in the last 7 years. While working at ACR, he developed 4 different products from the concept stage to the commercial stage, including water-soluble tooling materials that are commercially sold to Airbus, Eurocopter, Boeing and Lockheed. At Oklahoma State University, he works with several Oklahoma small businesses and student start-ups. Currently, he is working with his 8th student start-up company, assisting them with technical as well as strategic issues in taking their products to the market. A previous student start-up MITO Material Solutions won 2nd place at the prestigious Rice Business Plan competition and has successfully scaled up their product to take it to the market, winning more than $1.1 million from a National Science Foundation commercialization grant and additional investment worth $0.5 million.
Ranji has a B. Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, MS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a Ph. D in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio (Ceramic Engineering) in the United States.

Prof. Manoj Arora is a Ph. D. in Remote Sensing from Swansea University (https://www.swansea.ac.uk/), UK. He was a post-doctoral research fellow for about two years in a NASA sponsored project in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department, Syracuse University (https://www.syracuse.edu/), USA. He completed his Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering in 1986 from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee, https://www.iitr.ac.in/) and Batchelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering in 1984 from Punjab Engineering College (https://pec.ac.in/), Chandigarh. During, 2013-2018, he led Punjab Engineering College (Deemed University), Chandigarh, as the Director, on a Five-year tenure and was on lien from IIT Roorkee where he served as a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering upto Nov. 1, 2018 for 30 years. He has more than 34 years of teaching and research experience and a nearly equal experience in academic administration across India, UK and USA. This includes teaching in the areas of geospatial technology and computer sciences, developing and establishing new laboratories and centres, executing sponsored research and consultancy projects of national and international repute, research guidance, university administration, coordinating national level examinations GATE, JMET and JAM, and serving on a number of national committees of regulatory bodies, research organizations, and boards of academic institutions. He works in the area of Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System, Digital Image Classification, Machine Learning, Soft Computing, Land Cover Mapping and Hazard and Risk Studies. His significant academic outcomes are: initiation and execution of 42 sponsored research and consultancy projects with funding of over INR 90 million, establishment of a Centre and a Research Chair with an endowment of INR 125 million, publication of 2 books and 16 book chapters, publication of 256 research papers in International and National Journals and Conferences and several invited talks and keynote addresses. He has guided 24 Ph.D. theses (plus 1 currently registered) and 56 Masters Dissertations. Prof. Arora has earned Outstanding Teacher Award at IIT Roorkee (two times; year 2006 and 2010), the Commonwealth Scholarship Award for Ph.D. in UK, the DST Young Scientist Award, the AICTE Young Teacher Career Award and post-doctoral fellowship in a NASA sponsored project, USA. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, and has been an active member of many professional societies including American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the Indian Society of Remote Sensing. In addition to teaching and research, he has contributed and gained wide experience in the administration. At IIT Roorkee, he served as the Dean of Academic Studies and the Chairman of GATE, JMET and JAM examinations. He coordinated GATE 2009 at the national level. He has served on a number of committees of IITs, DRDO, UPSC, CSIR, UGC, AICTE, MEITY, DST, and other organizations of excellence. Some of these are: Chairman of Regional Committee for North Western Region, AICTE; Member, Academic Advisory Council (AAC) Development of Online Courses for SWAYAM; Co-chair of Chandigarh State Higher Education Council (SHEC), RUSA; Vice President of Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster; and, Member, Research Council, CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh. Professor Sandeep Sancheti is an Institution Builder, Policy Planner, Regular Columnist on various Academic Policies, Promoter of Sports in Higher Education and well known for his intellectual strategic foresight. He holds a Ph.D from Queens University of Belfast UK, M.Sc. (Engg.) from DTU Delhi and B.Tech from NIT Warangal. He is currently the Vice Chancellor (Provost) at Marwadi University Rajkot and also the Past President of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi. Formerly Dr. Sancheti headed Eight Central Govt. Institutions of national importance thereby setting a record of being the exclusive one to have done so. As a unique distinction he served in a variety of institutions like state and private universities, affiliated institutions, Govt. and deemed universities, private – deemed universities and institutions of national importance. He has worked as Director at National Institute of Technology New Delhi and NITK Surathkal. He was Director In charge at NIT Trichy, NIT Calicut and SPA Delhi and has also served as a Mentor Director of newly establishments of NIT Goa, NIT Puducherry and NIT Sikkim. He has lead two private universities namely SRMIST, Chennai as its Vice Chancellor and Manipal University Jaipur as its President in a career spanning more than 37 years. He is a recipient of the Common wealth Scholarship & Fellowship under Colombo Plan and was a Visiting Faculty at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok. He is also known for his excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills and had opportunities to speak to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on education matters and was also invited to address the Members of Parliament on issues of job opportunities and higher education. He was the Chairman, AIEEE and also instrumental in designing new policies on engineering entrance examinations as well as foreign and NRI admission in the country. He is a Member of Court and Council, Indian Institute of Science(IISc.) Bangalore. He is the Chairman; Board of Governors for MLV Textile Engineering College, Bhilwara and Jodhpur Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jodhpur. He is currently a Member-Executive Council at ACU London. He is also serving many professional bodies like SPIC MACAY, FICCI, CII, EPSI, Atal Innovation Mission etc. in different capacities. In addition, he is on various national level bodies of UGC, AICTE and AIU for education related matters and has been a part of Indian delegations abroad. He is a Life Fellow of IETE, IE (I), ISTE, BES and a Member of IEEE, USA and has contributed more than 85 research papers in journals and conferences. Vasireddy Vidya Sagar is a visionary with rich experience in the field of Academics and industry. A person who dares to dream big and commands the ability to make them come true. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Education. He is in the field of computer education since 1994 as a managing partner of Social Computers which has a franchisee of Aptech, a multinational company. It was one of the leading Computer Education Institutes in Coastal Andhra Pradesh for over a decade. He was the Project Head for the prestigious project of Government of Andhra Pradesh 1000 computerisation project for Guntur, Prakasam and Nalgonda district zone imparting computer education for over 75000 students. The project was successfully completed in 2010. Further he has been heading similar projects of ICT@5000 and ICT@1300 schools computerization projects in GUNTUR district. Under this project more than 550 employees are working with more than 100000 school children being educated annually. He is the managing trustee of Social Education trust under which an engineering college was started in the name of Vasireddy Venkatadari Institute of Technology, at Namburu village Pedakanani Mandal with the present students around 4000. Working with missionary zeal, he has effectively used his skills for the establishment of professional Educational Institutions that compare with the best in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The college is proudly ranked 2nd among the 470 odd colleges set up in the last decade in united Andhra Pradesh. Having benefited from world class quality education from Sainik School Korukonda, he always felt that he owed a good school to the society. 21 years in the field of academics, and now, to provide formal world class education for children he started VIVA-The School by VVIT which is the first International School in the newly formed state of Andhra Pradesh. He is the Proprietor of Social Computer Services, a Software Technology Park of India (STPI) registered Medical Transcription Unit, a pioneering enterprise in coastal Andhra Pradesh. He is also the managing partner of Social Agro Industries, a cotton seed oil extraction and refinery which also help the students of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology to get hands on experience of industrial atmosphere. Mr. Desh Deshpande oof Sycamore Networks, is the chief mentor of IUCEE. In the early years of IUCEE in 2008, he donated a significant amount of money and arranged for donations from Mr. Narayana Murthy of Infosys. These funds along with support from Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan of Infosys, enabled IUCEE to launch its faculty development program which has broadened into various transformational programs.
