MREC(A) offers a couple of courses focusing on improving the communication skills of their students.

Dr. Reddy suggested that only technical knowledge will not suffice, but the students will need to have professional skills as well. He further added and stressed the impact of the institution’s involvement with EPICS and SCALE programs in creating globally competitive engineers. The institution tries to incorporate industrial training and exposure to their students from their first semester. This helps the students in understanding and learning industry requirements, and prepares them well for a successful professional life.

The institution is committed to creating an effective environment for the faculty as well. There are 245 faculty members in the institution, and 33% of the faculty members are female faculty. So far, 24 faculty are involved in completing their IEECP Certification. Dr. Reddy motivates and influences his faculty members to attend various IUCEE webinars.
