Presenter: Dr. Tagwa Ahmed Musa is a Professor of Petroleum Engineering at the Sudan University of Science and Technology and a researcher at Texas A&M University at Qatar. A former dean and academic leader, she has over 20 years of experience in engineering education, research, and international collaboration. She is the first Sudanese woman to earn a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and has received multiple international awards, including the IFEES Regional Leadership Award (2025). Her work focuses on engineering education resilience, sustainability, and capacity building, particularly in Africa and conflict-affected regions.
