Abstract
Generative AI has disrupted traditional education, bringing the severe risk of “cognitive unloading,” where students delegate their thinking to algorithms. Is this a perfect storm or a great opportunity? This webinar explores how to navigate this shift by making critical thinking our strongest safeguard. We will discuss how to treat AI as a “junior assistant” that students must audit and validate like a “senior engineer”. Join us to learn how to redesign teaching and assessments to focus on process, reflexivity, and verification, ensuring future engineers are prepared for an unpredictable world.
